Will there ever be mods for this game?

It's as moddable as any Unreal Engine game. Don't know if the devs are going to support modding though.

Don't need dev support to crack into the files and do it yourself. I would soon expect simple mods to start popping up on Nexusmods

You know with how modular the level design appears, a map editor would be fantastic. Community made campaigns? Almost as if the game was built for it.

Mod support was a kickstarter goal that was never met, so I doubt they will add mod support.
And for the record, there was a VR Injector for UE4 projects and someone showcased it with the demo of System Shock.

Yes, that's why proper modding would be good. I know there was a Kickstarter campaign with that goal. Nevertheless, it does not have to mean that no mod support appears. The game is well received and so are the reviews.

Let's wait for a few patches, maybe we'll be lucky. :D

thats exactly the mod i want, and a mod to make the game not pixelated, because i think it would be interesting to see, and also a mod for people who hate the look of the pixelation art style. but thatll be a while till that comes out probably.
