I just install Linux Mint on my Laptop, got Steam & Uplay up and running. Now I need to know how to install Anno 2170 A.R.R.C onto this operating system. Anyone else know how to do this?
I don't use the game on steam but the steps should work anyway.
1) Install the game normally and launch it to check everything is ok.
2) Close the game.
3) Download the ARRC installer and use run other application.
4) Type wine and hit enter
5) Follow the installer, but make sure you change the directory for Anno 2070. It should be under .steam/steam/steamapps/common/Anno 2070
6) The installer might report a decompression problem. Just click ignore on the 5 times it happens. I haven't noticed it affecting gameplay.
7) You should now have ARRC the next time you launch the game. Optionally you can also try copying your Anno folder first and adding the folder where you installed ARRC as a local game so you can launch both versions.
