Way to save (offline) DLC ?

Hi,
I read on the Far Cry 3 forums that we can backup a .xml file to keep (offline) DLC working.

Is there something similar for AC Brotherhood ?

i'm doing assassins creed brotherhood. i bought the deluxe edition on steam.
as i said in a few post up^, i managed to get an options file from my old computer, but annoyingly the options file also stores all your achievements, so many became unachieved with this older options file. what i would now like to try is hex edit my options file, to unlock the dlc i know i already have installed. if you have a link to the hex editing instructions?

confused at what your goal is

so you have this game ACB right?
Did you install it BEFORE the deadline or after?
if after dont bother nothing will work except the mods/hex

an old save should never touch achievements mate, if they popped already that is.
Are you meaning on ubi? or steam?
what went away?

as Ive said there are work arounds
most will require people handing around the dlc pack file(s) and the fix to auth them into the game

PS sorry you got a game that lacks full function of what you paid. It truly is a bs move on ubis part
they are just revamping them all to re rent back to us.

I really cant get into any more trouble
BUT CAN lead you the right way

1. lots of posts were removed. due to these bypasses and issues, down to where ubi just went do whatever!

2. here is the guide from AHEM a person whom might or might NOT know how to hex everything

AC2 + dlc using hex

now the only diff is encryption and offsets for all the games that follow using the same engine or even a new upgraded one like andromeda did

wink and lemme know if that kinda helps you know that all this is possible
you will have to get files for the dlcs you dont have but OWN RENTALS to.

that is for ac2, i've done the hex editing in that guide and completed and am finished with that game.

i appreciate if you don't want to give instructions, i'd like to know if its real or possible.
its only been a month since ubi closed servers, perhaps in time someone will come out with a guide on hex editing the OPTIONS file, to restore access to dlcs.
I know its the OPTIONS file and only that file that needs editing.
i already have the dlcs working for now, by retrieving an older OPTIONS file of mine and overwriting, but now my achievements in the stats menu are the same as when i half played through the game in 2016.
