Xbox One Controller Not Working

I'm having the common issue where the Xbox One controller's buttons have generic names (i.e. Button 4) and the triggers don't work. I could resolve this issue in AC2 just by adding the x360ce.ini and xinput1_3.dll files to the game directory, but that doesn't do anything for Brotherhood. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks for posting here. Regrettably, we'd always try to recommend using an {LINK REMOVED} Xbox 360 controller with Assassin's Creed Brotherhood when possible, as this is what the game was designed to work with.

You may be able to try using a custom controller profile through Steam, however we're unable to guarantee this will have the desired results. You can find more information on this here.

Thanks for the comment. I realized I was missing a driver for x360ce, so I was able to resolve that and have my Xbox One controller emulate an Xbox 360 controller.
