I can't beat the villa defense mission opening? Help please

After beating this on PS3 and PS4 easily I find it strange that the PC version is more difficult.

Despite me destroying as many cannons as I can, the villa alwaays gets destroyed when theres like 14 people left.

It doesn't help that it seems on PC the game reloads this memory a bit slow, so that when I can move Ezio the villa health bar has already taken a decent chunk of damage.

Has anyone have any advice to get past this part?

yeah this mission was probably the hardest. what i did was as soon as i got in the cannnon i started from the far left since the cannon moves so slow and dont want to go right from left. also try to get 2 at a time.

I tried this like 20 times but eventually completed it watch youtube tutorials.
They made the health bar taking unnecessarily high damage on purpose you supposed to barely save the city

I tried it like 3 times and then got it. Its really annoying tough. On the first cannon get like 3 cannons at a time on the right side and then move over to the left and try getting 2 at a time. Then with the second cannon shoot the cannons more to the left first (and get 3 at a time if possible again) and then move to the right. for the cannons on the right you should trust in the force and it will lead you to victory (or in other words these cannons are far away and you most often cant tell wether youre aiming right so you need some feeling for it).

Apparently the city hp on pc is way lower than on ps3. On the YouTube tutorials they seem to have about twice as much hp than my city although I'm not doing anything different from what they do...guess we're doomed :(

I had to disable v-sync to finish this mission, it just would not work otherwise.

Sorry to hear you're having issues progressing - are you still unable to climb the wall?

If so, have you completed all other requirements to proceed in the area?

Perhaps you try to climb the wrong spot? Can you please provide screenshot on which part of wall you tried to climb?

Agreed on the wall climb problem. Ezio won't finish the climb after the ladder is blown off, even though he can jump higher than the topmost section of the wall that he needs to grab onto in order to climb up. Between this and the cannon section, the first sequence is nearly unplayable.

Is anybody able to upload a clip or link to a online video that shows this part of the game in action for any players who are having trouble with it, jut so we can check to see this is the same exact issue you all face in this sequence. Hello, I'm having the same problem. Ezio does not want to climb up the fort wall after the ladder is destroyed. He climbs the first ledge no problem, has a bit of struggle getting on the second ledge, it is possible to jump-catch the third and last ledge, but I have not found a way to climb up from there.
I'm including a clip with this issue, sorry it's a bit choppy.

Pressing "W", as well as high profile and/or jump does not work.

So after restarting the game a few times, Ezio finally wanted to climb it up no problem. Seems like restarting the game/PC (not memory, this did not help) does fix this issue.

As for the canon part, you basically have to land every single shot, taking 2-3 enemy canons with one shot. If you miss once, you will probably fail. Start with the very left canon and shoot the enemy canons moving from left to right, then after it kicks you out, use the right canon and fire at the enemy canons on the ridge. It took me a few tries but I made it with almost no health left.

Ive been doing this for over 40 minutes, i cant seem to do it, nothing has worked from restarting my pc multiple times, turning vsync on and or off or destroying 3 cannons nearly everyshot, restarting memory
