No modifications to graphics settings worked for me. The solution was to run the game from the windows file manager as administrator and not from STEAM or UPLAY. This triggered the sequence finally after trying 2-3 hours yesterday replaying the whole sequence over and over with different settings. Hope this can help someone else out aswell!

I think I tried this but it didn't work. I could've done it wrong. I run the game from Uplay btw.

How?

I put my framerate to 70Hz (or whatever the setting that wasn't 60Hz was), turned vsync off, turned off the game, turned the game back on, turned vsync back on, and then put my framerate back to 60Hz. Hope this helps.

Oh yeah and also I went into the files and ran the game from administrator both times. (before and after I turned off the game in the above message).

And to get into the file where you run it as administrator, there are two ways, dependent on if you use Uplay or Steam

Uplay
Libraries > Local Disk > Program Files (x86) > Ubisoft > Ubisoft Game Launcher > games > Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. Now that you're in this folder, find the application called "AssassinsCreedBrotherhood", then right click it and click "run as administrator" then when it asks if you want changes made to your computer, click yes.

Steam
Libraries > Local Disk > Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. Now that you're in this folder, find the application called "AssassinsCreedBrotherhood", then right click it and click "run as administrator" then when it asks if you want changes made to your computer, click yes.

Hope this helped!

Switching to 60Hz, turning V-Sync on, and restarting the mission worked for me. Thanks!
