lol, only after i had written here, it started to work. thx a lot
What I did was to go on multiplayer like you said, then click user, type random stuff. Then click password and type random stuff. Then click 'Remember my... password'. Then I hit enter to login, then when it fails to connect ] I hit enter to go to singleplayer.
This USED to work, but one day I closed it, came back and when I opened it again, the keyboard didn't work with the same technique.
Please help

Key points:
The game does not accept input from the desired keyboard or other input device.
"The reason for this is that the game can only handle one keyboard. When it starts, it will pick a keyboard at random."
"The workaround is simple in theory: make sure that only the keyboard you want to use is plugged in while starting the game (from the UPlay interface)."
Obviously, this is difficult to do with the built-in keyboard on a laptop. Fear not: The post linked above has instructions to help with that.
This applies to game controllers and some gaming mice, which present themselves to the system as a keyboard, and provide keyboard input. I was having trouble getting my Steam Controller to work until I disconnected all other keyboards before launching from the Ubisoft Launcher. In my case, this also includes turning off any remote programs or other input programs that emulate a keyboard - I use Remote Buddy, which allows custom keyboard input and keypresses via various remotes. Quitting all these increases the chance that your preferred keyboard or other device will be chosen by the game for the great honour of providing keyboard input.
I haven't tried this with AC:B yet, but it has worked for me with AC:2. I hope it helps others.
Thought I might say, although I dont know guanranteed.
Its cool how such an old post like this can still help people over a year later. Have fun!
It just comes to show that when great games become abandoned by their devs, it's up to the community to figure out how to keep them running before they become unplayable altogether.
