Shop Quest

There's a lot of stuff that requires "the shop quest". What is the shop quest and how do I unlock it?

Ok, you have shop quests for the Blacksmith, tailer, artist and doctors shops that are CLOSEST to Ezio's hideout. Only those shops near the hideout will show "Shop Quest" in the vendors menu. If you are very early in game play, you may not have Ezio's hideout yet. Once you do the 4 shops with quests are near by.

For each quest you must collect certain tradable items to unlock the item the shop quest is for. Google "Assassin's Creed Brotherhood shop quests" and one of the first three results will be a site that lists all the shop quests, the items you need to collect and where or how you obtain them.

One of the Blacksmiths quests to get two very good pieces of armor requires 2 Shrunken Heads. Unlike all the other tradable items in the game, there are ONLY 2 Shrunken heads in the whole game. One you can get early game and the other one is not available until you start sequence 7. Write down the locations of both of them when you do your Google search.

Ungh, I think I've been selling quest items. I thought they were only clutter.

Yeah, thats not a good idea. Write down all the items for the shop quests. After that you can sell everything else.

So I'm practically out with everything I already sold? My sons's fault, I asked him if these things were useful for something, and he said, Nah, just to gain some more coins!

Depends on what you sold and how many of them. Most items you need for the quests are fairly easy to come by. Either from looting bodies or from treasure chests. Also, investing in the global economy gives you shop quest items. It just may take you longer now to gather enough to fill the quest list of items. Just do Not sell the Shrunken heads once you get them.

Edit; One other way to get a few of the quest items is to send your Assassin's[once you have them to send] out on assassination missions. The missions are rated by level of difficulty. Most have small red dots to show difficulty, yet a few missions will have larger, what look like explosion red splashes instead of dots. Those will give you a quest item once completed.
