So, I just figured out how to unlock the DLC. All you have to do is start AC:B and, on the uPlay login screen, click on 'spend your points' on the left hand side. You can then click on the Da Vinci Disappearance DLC (it'll cost you 0 points).
There are a couple other things to buy there, too.
Once I did this, the next time I went in game I was presented with a new 'restored memory' marker on the map.
Now, my question is - how will this affect the story already in progress? I'm not too far in - I've only just started recruiting assassins. Is there a 'best' time to play this DLC? Does it matter?
