I love brotherhood more for the sole reason being that you can call in standard assassins to do your bidding whenever and it was a lot of fun. In 3 you could sort of do that but it was so complicated and annoying trying to get all of the specialized assassins to do what you wanted. I still enjoyed 3 though.

I like them all, for different reasons sometimes, but all the games are enjoyable; I love the history given in each, as I'm a big history fan. I'd have to vote for Brotherhood in this "contest" though. Everything just came together nicely in Brotherhood, I loved the characters (Ezio is the best; he is finally coming into his own in this one), loved the setting of the game (my absolute favorite location is in AC2 though; love Florence), and all the game mechanics seemed to be right... just loved AC: Brotherhood. You could invest in the city and build it back up. Revelations sorta went one step further with the managing of the Assassins' guilds and doing mission in other cities, but Brotherhood just had the best of everything, imho.

AC3 is good. I've not gotten very far in it...once again, I'm bogged down in the "little things"..currently, I'm hunting and collecting resources in the wilderness Frontier, but I've not advanced the story very far. I like them all, honestly, and enjoy playing games. Especially ones with a strong historical influence like these do. I had no idea when I started the series, and I was floored by all the detail in them, especially in AC2, Brotherhood, and Revelations. The devs did an outstanding job with this series.

Brotherhood! I too liked all of them. Didn't like Revelations until I learned that I didn't have to do the tower defense part of game as long as I kept my notoriety level down, then I even enjoyed it. Have played AC I, II, III, IV, Brotherhood, Revelations, and the one that was DLC for IV, don't remember the name. I guess Liberty is the only one I haven't played. I guess I liked IV the most, then Brotherhood.

P.S. Brotherhood is only one on my PC, all the rest I played on either PS3 or XBOX 360.

Hehe, that got me a couple of times too. Then I kept on top of that notoriety thing like a hawk. Couldn't stand the guild defense things.

Brotherhood for sure, I felt III made too many promises beore launch and then was just meh. it Playing brotherhood (I need to go back and play both) felt awesome plus I have a soft spot for his travels throughout rome as I visited there, so it was fun going, "oh i was there" at certain locations. The deal breaker for me was the added saftey freerunning they started in 3, made the freerunning less free. nothing beats the satisfaction of making that jump and landing it, and 3 took that away/(imagine mario where you hold right to run right and it auto jumps all the gaps for you, thats not fun) not to mentioned dumbed down the fighting. also if the assassins have acess to gun gauntlets built by davinchi why do we need a rifle that we then have to load taking forever.
TLDR brotherhood is great/ 3 is good but they dumbed down too many play mechanics.

Brotherhood gave me lot more fun! I just didn't like the control changes. Ezio is better than Connor also lol

I kinda sorta agree with you on the gun gauntlets thing, but it could be explained away by the fact that not all tech gets handed down to all generations, especially more than a couple hundred years ago, but yes, it does seem a bit odd. Although, the whole Assassin legacy thing was in quite a downturn with basically Achilles having retired, and then Connor comes along to carry on the legacy... Maybe Achilles had a garage sale to pay off his land mortgage or something and had to get rid of all the high-priced junk lying around the estate to pay off some debt. And the plans to some of the higher tech might have been lost over the years.

The reload times are a bit ridiculous though. It makes me not want to use the pistols or rifles at all for most of the game.
