Petition : Ubisoft’s Achievement on Steam

To be bluntly frank, I wouldn't sign this petition mostly because there are other more pressing subjects and petitions to sign, like for instance this one, which is trying to prevent game developing companies like Ubi$oft to keep their games functioning as when they were initially released and not insert controlled obsolescence like we all know that it's a ilk behavioural low etchical pattern that Ubi$oft tends to make.

And on a different note... What sort of amazes me more is that I got a 2 weeks ban for supposedly spamming the above linked petition into different Assassin's Creed forums sections (and a few other games) by posting that "EU's Initiative" petition link that I haven't created, but astoundingly this user hasn't received even a single warning it seems.
Ergo, this means that there are double standards gallore from Steam's moderators staff or any other ones that cruise these sections.

That's not a gamer, that's like saying if i play a single game i'm a gamer, hey i fired a gun i must be a soldier, i own 4 guns, i guess im a combat expert?

Hey i own a camera and make videos, im a movie creator and a famous star..

Like youtube creators that think they are famous but aren't... just because they got 000-0,000,000 numbers of views, you aren't famous, 8 billion people on earth.. donald trump, bruce lee, jackie chan and such are famous people... just because new gens want to alter definition of something doesn't make it right... you're not a gamer, i own tons of consoles, more than you own, and thousands of physical based games from: tapes > cartridge > floopys > disks. to whatever. IM A GAMER.

You are destroying a classic to add achievements to a game nobody but you and a small minority want, if you can't enjoy a game without need of achievements, then you don't know what a game is... Just like people who complain about graphics in 2024.. and think graphics means everything and makes the game...

Don't update and destroy and alter a perfectly good game from what it currently is, just because you want to feel the need to get some stupid achievements, go write down some achievements to accomplish, or get someone to give you them...

My point, Ubi's games have Achievements on their launcher and old plateform (like back on Xbox, there were achievements), so they could be here too.

Ubisoft won't give any achievements for this game on Steam because they want to give you a reason to use their failing garbage launcher instead of Steam.

That is to say... they won't give you Steam achievements for the same reason they won't let you run the game on Steam without also running the Ubisoft launcher lol

you know you can turn off ubi launcher in older games by adding "-playoffline" in launch settings.
