Very Loud Sound Effects

Some sounds are extremely loud even though I have all sound settings on 1. For example, shooting the cannons in the first level or using the lifts just seem to play at full volume for some reason. Does anyone have a fix for this?

What kind of Sound Setup are you using? For instance, Stereo or Surround. Are you using headphones or speakers?

The first thing we'd advise, if you haven't already, is verifying the game files. This will check for missing corrupt files and replace them. You can do this through the steps in the guide here

I was using stereo from my monitor. And I did try verifying my files but the problem still remained. Oddly enough it didn't have this issue when I was playing Revelations, only Brotherhood

Same problem here this is very annoying, the canons were so loud i had to remove my headset. I still have the problem in game with the wood and rope thing that throw you on roofs (dunno the english name in french it's "palan").

I tried with my Logitech G533 and another Bose Headset same issue

i've set the volume to 1 in game, same issue

Someone find a solution ?
