uplay not working

Every time i go on brotherhood it asks me for my uplay account so I give the computer my password and username,but after I type them in while uplay is logging me in windows says uplay launcher has stopped working please help i have a windows seven : )

P.S. If you help me out ill give you a code for a $20 steam gift card i really want to play brotherhood

I am having the same problem, and it looks like it might have something to do with an update to uplay. Someone recommended that I run the game as administrator, and that has worked for me.

What you need to do is to go to the folder where the executable is for the game. It should be located in C:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Assassins Creed Brotherhood. Right click the file called ACBSP, and select "Run as administrator". That should launch the game.

Hopefully that works for you. =)

Where should i search "C:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Assassins Creed Brotherhood" and when I do search for it should the word creed be seperate from assassins and brothergood?

You might be able to launch the game normally now. This morning, I could launch the game with no problems from within Steam, so the problem might be fixed.

If not, go ahead and do this.

On the desktop, press and hold the windows key and press E at the same time. That should bring up Windows Explorer. From there, double click "Local Disk (C:)", then Steam, then SteamApps, and so on until you find ACBSP in the Assassin's Creed Brotherhood folder.

Thank you this worked for me. Game launchers within game launchers. Now who thought that was a good idea? The uPlay launcher is quite terrible at what it does with it being so fragile.

i dont know if your problem has been fixed but what you need to do is go into files find a file enter that file press on either progamme files (64) or progamme files then locate ubisoft go into game launcher find uplay and run as administrator tell me if it doesnt work

I had a similar problem with anno 2070. I had to install Uplay separetly, Then re-install the game. Now it works fine.

UbiSoft just hands-form-ass. I buy FC4, play 2 times and on three its just not work. uplay cant connect. Even website almost dead. OMG, its so non-professional.
I start to understand peaople, who promised will never buy any game from ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Its ridiculous wait when this morons up this glitch servers, when everybody who download game from torrent paly whitout issues.
