FPS lag
So i started playing the Ezio triology again and played through AC2 without any problems. Then i started AC Brtoherhood and its almost unplayable because of the lag. Turning the graphics down to the lowest settings doesnt help at all. I have a good pc and that can run Witcher 3 with high settings, so that really cant be the problem. Anybody have any solutions?

So i just found a solution for this. Open Task Manager, find a process called ACBSP.exe, right click on it and go to details, right click on ACBSP again and set affinity, first uncheck all the cores, then only check the core 1, then check all the cores and voila

Hi! I'm experiencing this problem right now and... May I ask you to be more specific on this procedure? I don't want to mess up my pc

What's that? How does it work? It's a valid alternative to the procedure described by the op?

I dont really know how could setting an affinity mess up your computer but this worked for me and i played the whole campaign through. Just do the steps i said and you should be able to play it no problem. By the way i realised i forgot the very last step on my solution so if it didnt work then try again with the last step :D I dont know about the 3rd party program "altair" mentioned but its up to you to choose which one you use.

I don't even know what "setting an affinity" means and I've never found myself in a situation where I had to play around with CPU usage so, please, would you forgive my ignorance...?

However I've managed to follow your instructions, step by step, and didn't worked unfortunately. Game still lags massively...

I can vouch for this. It works!

Hello. Does this works on Windows 8.1? Can't find any core-related options.

This fix also works for AC Reveletions which also suffers from stutters by loading a single core. Doing this relabalances the load. I would also say that its recommended to disable hyperthreading for this game and make the game run on only 4 cores for those who have 9900k like myself.

When you say "lag" do you mean FPS drops and stuttering? That's what I'm experiencing.
