PC controls still suck though
no, xbox 360 controller probably works fine with ac2 but xbox one is the controller they sell now and ac2 sees that as trigers being a third stick making trigger buttons useless and screwing up the controller assignments. you need a 3rd party 360CE emulator file to make xbox one controller work on ac 2. i know since i bought ac2 and found the xbox one controller map is completely messed up.
Yes, I will admit the controls kinda suck for PC, but I hate even more how in AC 2 and Brotherhood that run is RT while in AC it was RB. In AC 2 I could at least change XBox controls to make run RB, but in Brotherhood its locked. So now it use JoytoKey to force emulate keyboard so I can once again have run be RB.
