How do I fix the fan in the atmosphere room?
[SOLVED] I already removed the piece of metal from it. What else do I do to fix it, it's still jammed. [SOLVED]

I just now fixed it, I removed the piece of metal by... grabbing it? and then removing it?

Anyways. I fixed the jam just now by throwing a recycler charge into the fan, there was nothing there before, but the fan unjammed after it went off so hey, works for me so idc.:eng:

There is a piece of metal pipe stuck in the fan.
Be sure to GLOO the fan before pulling the pipe. It is probably just poor collision code, but it killed me the first time I pulled it.

There is a console nearby that lets you turn off the fans, i jumped down and removed the pipe by hand then come back and activated again the fans, a recycler charge seems to do the trick too

Yep, there's a glitch for some people - removing the pipe doesn't fix it. Good thinking on that grenade!

For me, removing the pipe from the fan itself was not enough. I had to completely remove the pipe from the fan area (tossed it out of the room entirely), so I'm guessing the trigger is "is the pipe in this area" rather than trying to figure out "is the pipe actually jamming the fan"

Thank you! It worked for me too. There was a sound of sparks and it was clearly jammed but I've pulled out the pipe stuck in the fan long ago in the game. Now there was no pipe object rendered in the scene at all :D Thank you for your ingenious solution.
