Constantly Walking Forward, WTF?

Is this a design feature? I've never seen this in a FPS shooter or game before. I thought it was my Xbox 360 controller and so I turned it off and I was still walking forward. Is there a setting I missed? Game looks great has that Half Life vibe.

Definitely not supposed to do that. Unfortunately I haven't encountered it so I can't fix it for you...

Thanks for chiming in. I verified it and it's definitely a controller issue but I only have a problem with this game. I think the developer changed something wrt deadzone settings or set them at zero and there are no settings that you chan change the deadzone. No other FPS in my library has this problem with this wireless Xbox 360 controller.

Yes, there are several dozen threads about the controller issues. Something *specifically* about this game is wonky, apparently. You will love the game, once you get that solved :)

So the developers still haven't fixed the xbox controller issue yet.... Well they can go ♥♥♥♥ themselves as it shouldn't take this long to fix a known issue they have even pinned to the discussion page.
Controllers worked fine when the game released and then they broke it, but since they already have most peoples money since it is a while since it was released they really just can't be bothered fixing the issue it seems. Wankers.

If it really is something to do with deadzones.. You could use Steam's controller settings and increase the deadzone for this specific game? I've not had this issue with the steam controller though.

Good luck. The game also works great with M+KB btw.

I dont get why people play this gasme with controller anyway on steam.
