Honestly a lot of what you need to do a playthrough on nightmare is just upgrading shotgun and pistol and stungun to max, so that basically means the only thing you need is ammo for those 3 guns and everything else can literally be cycled to make neuromods. I used a total of MAYBE 15 health kits the entire nightmare playthrough... having those robots give you full health and armor makes the game stupidly easy.

It probably is possible but I don't think it would be worth it given how much time it would take to scrap together all the resouces required.
