Assuming there are some bosses / unique enemies, and each enemy has multiple attacks and different encounters, there's more than enough variety.

Isn't the case here, since we haven't seen any enemy wave on Prey yet...
So the lack of variety and enemy waves can be a letdown, dunno...
Maybe so. Even though the game would have 'only' 8 enemy types I'm still going to buy it. Just stating that the more enemies the better. Especially in this game where the milieu is going to be in space that involves aliens.
Dont forget that in this game they all look the same like a black goo.
