That activation limit is really based on console-thinking. So you could keep using the game if you have to replace the console once or twice or got it reset by a repairshop.
Not suited for the PC situation, with windows reinstalls, changing parts, etc.
I will get the same problem when I have to give up on using W7 because steam will refuse to run on it in 4-5 months. Then the activation limit will say no and this game will be one the things that are lost.
For this and other reasons I have not switched away already. Quite apart from this hardware not really being ready for 10 (why would I want OS that would make it even slower), and does not even fit the w11 requirements.
I think I answered the other part in another thread. EA does not sell og give out keys for activation for their discontinued products. They want you to by their new games and remakes instead.
Thank you for your reply here I guess I will not be purchasing this one (and EA will never again make a NFS game, like the PS1 games and NFS Hot Pursuit 2 from 2002, the true and only NFS games to me).
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this is blatant robbing of corporate greed and it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ legal, it's straight up robbery because my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard drive is about to fail and I needed to replace it with an SSD
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ i had no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ choice, it wasn't "preventable"
