Hello guys. First of all, you need to create an account on Ea.com. Than, when you go in game, put the same id and password. It will work.

Hi, there is no such thing as "main account ".
There is only The account from www.ea.com
If you don't have an account there, make one. Than log in with the created account in Shift 2 Unleashed .

I'm having the same problem. I just bought this game and I'm unable to connect to Autolog. When I try to connect, it says the following:
"You are not connected to the Autolog servers. Please check your network connection and re-connect to Autolog if you wish to enjoy the online features of this title."

I already tried the previous "solution", but the result was the same.

This is absurd. Please help me solve this problem.

Edited: I finally managed to log in, it took plenty of tries, but it finally happened.

nah I do the same problem, I wait until 13days, if they not fix the autolog. lets refund it

Then try logging in. I think it worked for me.

if it doesnt work.

install origin, activate the game with the cd key given by steam and try loging in again. I did both of these at the same time, im not sure which one solved the issue.
