how do u get a butler just downloaded the game for PC been playing on ps3 an found PC is lot better
Overwatch, ErrorTrap, Story Progression, Traveller, Master Controller, DebugEnabler, NoIntro, OnceRead (makes your Sim ignore books they have already read), Register, Retuner, Tempest (for Seasons tweaking), Woohooer (a.k.a. "the mod which must not be named" on the official forums), No Autonomous Capture the Moment, and a couple of pregnancy meshes/textures to fill gaps where the game didn't have appropriate ones. Obviously a fan of NRaas mods.
Click on a computer or City Hall --> NRaas --> Story Progression --> General Options --> Stories
You'll probably want to click on All Stories (it is set to true by default, so you get notices about everyone in town) and only turn on Blood (relatives) and Friends. Note that Story Progression exempts the active household from its stuff, so you shouldn't be getting story notices about them anyway.
On your smartphone, call for services and Butler should be at the very bottom of the services list. They will need their own bed and are generally a pain in the rear since they don't actually do much, but they will usually change and feed infants and toddlers when they need it and you don't have to worry about calling a babysitter if you have a butler. Not what butlers do in real life, but there you go.
