Yes, yes. I've read the wiki and multiple other sources. They all state the same thing, yet it does not coincide with my personal experience. Are you able to personally confirm what you say, or are you simply repeating what you've read?
However, looking at your post history, it seems you're deliberately unhelpful. I suppose I'll wait for another response.
I used the public library computers to do some hacking, and I realized I was getting very slow payments (~50 minutes). I also noted that the library had very cheap computers. After purchasing the most expensive computer available (a laptop worth $5000), my hack times were reduced to 14-15 minutes.
I tested it numerous times, with and without the Genius trait, which made no difference either way. Thus, my conclusion, in order to improve hack times, get a better computer. :)
Then why did the wiki say that?
Because wikis are written by fallible people, like you and I.
Yet pretty much all of it has been true....
