Well first of all, In the offical Sims 3 games on steam it currently has been showing me that it runs for XP and vista only. And alot of people were getting scared that it might not work so i decided to help :)

It says that for a lot of stuff. They are just lazy and don't update it.

FWIW it works for Windows 8 just fine too.

Honestly if there's a game that DOESN'T work in Windows 7 or Windows 8 on Steam I guarantee if you go into the forums there will be a bunch of posts raging about it. If you don't see that you can pretty much assume it's working okay for most people.

I know this post maybe a few months old, but I've not been able to run it very well..it'll get to a certain point and lag so hard it will kick me.
