Can you play offline?

Hi, I want to buy this for the kids, they already play with the disk version but the prices of expansions are interesting. Would like to play at the cabin where there is no internet. Thx all!

Yes, I believe you can play offline. You can simply start Steam in "Offline mode". It will default to this once you attempt to start steam without an active internet connection.

Just remember that you have to go in "Offline Mode" while your computer is still connected to internet. Steam will then reoppen in "offline mode" and stay that way until you rechange the setting, so you can unplug and leave with it.
