verify integrity of cache says 4 files need to be reaquired but nothing happens

i verify the integrity and it says 4 files are dameged however it doesnt reaquire these 4 files? they are instantly damaged. anyone know why? and is there way of manually doing this? my game does run ok but these 4 files concern me. my friend was the same

i would try the discussions on the sims3 site they are pretty helpful and fast to respond.

well normally when i did this, it would auto start "updating sims 3" .. nothing pops up.. should just see sims downloading.

hmm they downloaded but they seem to be instantly damaged? i revirify it and nothing says those 4 files are damged thats without playong or anything. does that mean they are actually all fine and everything? thats the problem i seem to be having i get the supposed files but they are instantly damaged

is your game running fine ? i did it as well.. and got told the same issue, and my game working fine.. 4 files as well. .. maybe theses files are disabled for a reason ?

oh then must just be everyone. yes my game is pretty fine :) i was just wanting to verify it :) cause slight lag probab;y from custom stuff

i actually find if you do verify.. it causes a bit more lag for me.

I am having the same problem with the 4 files being damaged. But I cannot play my game at all. It has sound but no video. I have been searching for months to try to find a solution. I even contacted EA with it but nothing. If you know how to fix this, it would be much appreciated.

hmm mines fine mines always worked from the start i havnt had major problems everyone else seems to get.

bloody.. no video seems like a graphic card issue . dont do verifty anymore, it not that. .your computer specs can run the sims, right? what gc do you got?

edit: what i found was, it could be pets. someone with a beast computer like mine.. had the same error your having due to the graphic card.

if it is a graphic card issue, it is most likely pets.. and steam doesnt allow certain eps to be installed, so you might have to go to origin. inless steam has an option to select dlc in the future.
