Can't register sims 3 account

I bought Roaring heights through the EA app and noticed it didn't download. When I looked on this forum I saw you need to somehow activate it through the sims 3 store, however when I try to loggin using my EA account it doesn't work. So I tried to make a Sims 3 account which is apparently different (?!) but https://www.thesims3.com/ is offlne... it says 403 Forbidden... Anybody know how I can get out of this hell loop?

you have to activate it through the ea site in account settings and redeem code then put your code in

thats what i had to do with my sims 3 packs i bought yeah thesims3.com site doesnt work anymore you can only manage your friends message and check your progress on that site you cant register the game or packs on there anymore

every time you try it will just say invalid code now on the ea site i would enter just add the packs you bought because for some reason it wont recognize the code for the base game but it will add it when you add a pack

For me the entire website is down. The only thing it says is ''Forbidden'' on it...

every expansion pack you buy comes with a CD Key for the game enter the cd key that comes with expansion pack you bought when you try to add the base game code to your account it will say that the code was already used thats what it said when i tried but when i added the an expansion pack it also added the base game

I am not trying to get the basegame. That worked just fine. I got Roaring Heights and for that it is trying to force me to go to the above mentioned site, which does not work.

Where do you mean to add the expansion pack?

have you tried here? https://myaccount.ea.com/cp-ui/redemption/index put the code in there make sure you put it in exactly as they gave it to you

Also been trying to launch a ticket with EA but their website seems to have the ever spinning loading icon... so I feel like EA just stole my money :(

well that is weird oh it could be because its a sims 3 dlc town you get from the sims store and not expansion pack yeah that could be well since the thesims3.com site is down then i think your screwed unfortunately

i have sims store dlc i cant claim either a bunch of sims3packs i cant get because the site wont let me download em no matter how many times i click the button nothing happens
