First link the EA App with Steam:
https://help.ea.com/en/help/pc/link-ea-and-steam/
Now you can also start playing through Steam instead of the EA App if you want to (NOT the icon of the EA App).
1) Right–click as administrator on the GAME icon on your desktop.
2) Wait until the Sims 3 Launcher appears.
3) Then open the Task Manager (which you should have ideally pinned to your task bar).
4) Click on "Details" on the left hand side.
5) Scroll down and right–click on the Sims 3 Launcher.
6) Then click on "Set Affinity".
7) Click on the tick of "All Processors" so that all ticks are being removed.
8) Then click to set the tick just in the box of CPU 1 and click OK.
Now start the game in the Sims 3 Launcher.
1) Wait until the EA logo appears, then minimize the game (by hitting the Windows key on the keyboard twice) and go back to the Task Manager (you can let it stay on the desktop for the entire time you are playing if you want to).
2) Click on "Details" again, scroll down and right–click on TS3W.exe.
3) Now click on "Set Affinity" again as you did before and put back all ticks as they were before so that all CPUs are enabled again and click OK.
Now click on the game icon in the task bar and continue loading the game.
If you just do the first 8 steps, the game is quite laggy and jerky camera movement. But if you additionally do the following steps to set back all ticks at all CPUs, it will run smoothly. Following the steps in the Task Manager takes just a few seconds and is so much easier and faster than it may look here in the description. :-)
You have to do it this way every time you want to start the game if you had closed it before.
I hope this description will work for you despite the cracked expansion packs, good luck! :-)
Did you already check the internet of how to delete the cracked stuff ? Maybe you find the solution there.
