Need help with installing mod "No or fewer automatic memories"

I got tired of having the sim's memory book filled with useless stuff like "went to the park" ten times, so I found this mod that lets you choose which memories should be saved and which not:

I downloaded the TS3_Memory_Modder_Game_Strings.zip and the velocitygrass_only_important_memories.zip. But I'm struggling to understand how it is supposed to be installed after the download and unzipping. To be exact, the following step written on the page is unclear: "Start TS3_Memory_Modder.exe: The application it will attempt to read the Sims 3 installation directory from the registry and if it doesn't find it, it will prompt you for it."
After I start the exe-file, I'm able to chooose a folder in my pc. So I try to go to the sims 3 folder and click for example the folder with mods, it says "Could not find DeltaBuild0.package for translations".

I'm stuck and I'd really appreciate some help.

game isnt installed in the documents folder, it should be in programs 86 (mostly, depending on your system. i use windows) -> steam ->steamapps -> common

I always just set the game option for memories to the "off" mode.

I found it and the overlay with the checkboxes popped up as it's supposed to do! Thanks a lot :)
