Just go to documents/Electronic arts and remove the sims 3 folder and place it on your desktop. then start the game, it'll be like a fresh install but thats not a problem. once at the main menu quit the game and there should be a new Sims 3 folder go in there and delete the lame songs that's in the new custom songs folder, then take it out and place it on the desktop. trasfer your music to the NEW CSF Delete the NEW SIMS 3 folder that spawned when you started the game, from Documents/EA and replace it with your old one. re add the new CSF to your old Sims 3 folder and that worked for me all my songs are there now.
WHY did this happen in the first place? i have no clue. smh :/
