Editing Relationship Status

hello Sims 3 friends,
I am wondering if anyone knows whether it is possible to edit relationships of families and characters one made BEFORE getting Generations? In Generations, we get to choose ahead who is parents and so forth (for anyone reading this unfamiliar with the game play in Generations). I have messed around a bit searching to edit the relationships of my characters that I made previously but not succeeding. Would appreciate ideas even if you have not tried or succeeded doing this.

Take your family to the clipboard and edit them from there

I think you may be able to do it with the MasterController mod combined with the Cheats mod.

Check out the website here[nraas.wikispaces.com] -- you need both "MasterController" (which is the base mod) and "Cheats" which lets you edit household relationships.

Thank you, cruinne. I have looked at this mastercontroller and it seems a benevolent character. I shall have to get to know mastercontroller :) because mastercontroller does some really helpful tasks!
