What little tricks do you have in sims 3 to save time and money? NOTE: Not cheats

Instead of washing the dishes or taking out the newpaper to the trash, just open your backpack and sell them! It makes no money, but you can save by not having a sink or a dishwasher.

Take up writting.
Those royal's add up alot.
Also being a genie basicly makes cleaning obsolete as i can just clap my hands and everything is clean. same goes for food.
Beyond that my sims doesnt get out much.
Being a loner and all.
Also i got the multi tab dlc that allows my sims to learn two skills(one from the tab and one from whatever they are doing) at the same time :D

As a fairy start with a empty lot ,buy a 2 fairyhouses,a rocket pack and a holocomputer and build yourself a toilethouse,take one of your houses and place it in front of your workplace,to safe time.
