The Sims™ 3

Sims 3 World Packs and Steam
So my girlfriend loves to play the Sims 3. She has bought the base game and more than a few expansions here on Steam. She likes getting it here because of the Steam Sales that happen a few times a year and the main reason she wants it on here.

The one thing that she really wants to get is the Dragon Valley World Pack (which I guess is different than the regular expansions and stuff packs). I looked into it and it is available in retail as a disc and digitally from the Sims store and Origin. I also understand that the disc based versions and Steam versions aren't compatible and everything can be moved to Origin.

I looked through Steam's catalogue and noticed that they don't have any World Packs. So, I have a few questions. Will Steam ever release the World Packs? If she gets a World Pack from the Sims Store, can it work on the version she has installed from Steam? And if she has to move everything to Origin, will she still be able to buy more expansions and stuff when a Steam Sale come around (because she bought the base game here to begin with)? Thank you in advance! :D

1: Everything from the sims store is dlc and shoud to my knowledge work with all version of the sims.
I downloaded several things(including a town) from the store and it works perfectly fine with my steam version of the sims.
2: No eagames is waging war agains steam and will not release any games, dlc or other content on steam as far we know(and it will cost them as alot of people myself including wont buy sims 4 if we cant buy it on steam)
3:When you go to the sims site you can register your steam sims 3 cd code.
When you do this that sims expention pack is added to your origin acount.
Atleast mine is.
I got all my sims games on both origin and steam.

I make no promises as it has been awhile since i downloaded anything.
So things might have changed.

Yh you have nothing to worry about, i got some stuff from sims store in my game too. BTW if you register your world adventures key on steam on your sims 3 store account you will be given 1000 free simpoints, and then buy the mutlitab 5000, its 500 simpoints and is very OP, it lets you listen to tabcasts/audiobooks on certian skills while doing other things. For example while weightlifing listen to a tabcast on cooking :D and thtas only 1 feature, it can also be used as a normal tablet too.
