Butler is AWOL...
My Butler has gone AWOL, when I rang services to Fire her, it says I must fire her in person, when I go to friends tab and right click her name, it doesn't even move to her. Any tips? I like having the butler as they do laundry!

ctrl shift c then type in resetsim * it will reset all sims in your town to a safe place and usually fixies 99% of bugs with them.

It worked - Just want to mention for future reference in case others have this same problem, you need to call services and re-hire the butler once you use the console command ResetSim Firstname Lastname

Butlers somehow love to vanish ...
cannot count the numerous occasions where my families hired a butler only to have him vanish after a few weeks (and need to rehire another one) ...
finally I decided that they would be too much hassle for the little bit of work they (have to) do (after all they have a leisure time in my homes ... I keep them away from the fridge (so they don´t flood me with mediocre quality meals 3 times a day, when I always have a Sim with Skill 10, who just needs to make a meal once a day to feed them all) and all they have to do is a little bit of cleaning and (till the kids are old enough) babysitting)

mine never make food unless I ask! but its ok, I have the future expansion pack, and use the synthesiser gizmo! don't even need cooking skill, just as long as the future skill is leveled, free (I think) food made instantly

I did notice that my butler did go AWOL previously, but I was able to phone up services and order another (was the same butler) but this time I had the issue, she vanished and I couldn't hire another...I like having the butler, even tho she spends most the time reading (my books, the cheek!) she does do the laundry, and I like that buff~
