How do I install World adventures?

I bought World Adventures earlier today, and it just finished downloading. However, when I launch the Sims, I cannot travel using the phone. When I exit, Steam says that World Adventures was not installed, but it is downloaded. What gives? How do I install it?

I should tell you guys that I have the Sims 3 though Steam, and I also bought World Adventures through Steam. Everything's on Steam.

Solved, maybe. It wasn't finished downloading. Steam had seemed to indicate that it was done downloading World Adventures, but it really decided to update all my other games, and push my World Adventures download to the bottom. Frustrating.

Yeah I've had steam do that same thing with other games you think the DLC update is done but its got pushed asside for something else and just didn't continue, at first I was going to say to you make sure its ticked in sims 3 DLC list to be installed lol.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. It's a wierd way to do things. You'd think that a game I haven't played in a year could wait for DLC I want to play now.

Or that since it was allready updating it would just que the other game updates untill sims was done

put sims 3 on "priority download", right click the shortcut, properties, find teh settings there.
