Athletic career Game record Bug
My sim is level 10 on the athletic career, has max athletic skill, and relationships with the team, the team win every game according to the score but the game record remains at 0-0 and does not move. Does anyone know how to fix this?

i am in bridgeport if that helps

Not sure if it's an actual bug, but I've read that your coworkers' performance also effects the game. And given that the AI for NPCs is downright stupid, they never prepare for games or work on their skills, so they're basically drooling idiots during games while you're doing all the work.

Taking a tip from ISBI (I'm surrounded by id|ots) challenge, you might try to meet up with coworkers and ramp up their skills. That may help. if driving on autopilot neutral, they probably just weeble , burning their food, setting their homes on fire and do nothing to improve their skills.

Thanks but the issue is not that the games are being lost, we are winning every game 14-0 but it just is not going onto the game record statistic.

The stupid thing is, it did before, but not since.

I wonder if the lot became corrupt? I can't remember Bridgeport Stadium, is it only the Llama Stadium and not a combined lot? Some of the newer expansions enabled some lots to have combined rabbit holes, but glitches started to appear on some combined lots.

If your stadium in Edit Town, is only a stadium, maybe the lot has become corrupt? I have not played an athletic career since TS2, so I'm pulling this out of thin air.

Start a new game on Bridgeport, but do not save the game in the end. What you want to do is copy the original stadium into your building library. A mint one from an unused copy of Bridgeport. Don't allow the system to add new venues, just go straight to a vanilla Edit town on Bridgeport. MOVE the Stadium into a folder for your library.

Then quit this version of Bridgeport without saving. Start up your normal game that has the bug. Go to edit down (make sure no important sims are at the stadium at the time, just in case) and then bulldoze the lot and plop down a new stadium from the original Bridgeport.

Try playing it and seeing if the glitch continues. If the stadium had become a multipurpose lot, and you want to keep that other purpose, then use a separate building for that purpose.

Here's a discussion on the old forum which discusses a similar game performance issue, and there are others on the old official forum, with the solution being to replace the stadium with a mint one or if the stadium is a combined one, move the other venue to a different building.

I hope this works. I want to try this career with one of my world adventures sims who is max in athletics and martial arts. I was thinking of Dragon Valley for him.

I heard of this shared use thing for one of the dlc areas, something plains. Thanks for the advice i'll follow up on it if it happens again.

For now i think I fixed it, be deleting the caches in the EA folder in documents, let's hope the solution sticks.
