Hair/outfit glitch

I have this problem where my sim keeps getting a monk-style haircut and nerd clothes. I tried restarting and that didn't help

You can make your sim walk up to your mirror and change their hairstyle

It might also be some bad custom content, so if you downloaded something new and this has happened ever since, it would be worth uninstalling that thing.

It was when the game put on my career outfit. It works now that I used a mirror and made a custom career outfit.

Ah yeah - for some reason, career outfits get corrupt often. Best thing to do is just what you did :-)

Some of the careers/professions ligitimately have that outfit, such as the Writer.

A similar bug with the career outfits is that if the outfit is completely corrupt, your sim will not go to work. I had a sim come home STARK NAKED (screenshots available) the other day from work, and I'm assuming it's because bugs ate her outfit.

Weird. For my male sim, he went almost bald. I just wouldn't think the outfit would change his hair; maybe because it was the Seasons hair. My female sim had the same hair but her clothes didn't match her job at all.
