Can you marry an ex?

Trying to get my sim back with his ex-girlfriend and its not working. He was married before, but his wife died.

This game has been dumbed down alot in the past few years so, yes you can.

This is one of the main reasons why I hate the Sims community, not everyone likes the easy way out. Some people like to actually play the game and earn everything.

Just do friendly interactions at first, then once the bar starts to get into the green you can start romance.

I tend to play my game a little bit of both ways. I like building the relationships gradually but if there's a glitch i use cheats. I also leave testingcheatsenabled true for routing errors.

Thats pretty reasonable, using cheats if somthing is FUBAR'd or a similar error.

So I've got the green bar all the way up, but it won't offer up any dating or marriage options. Its like the status is stuck on them being ex's.

Is your sims former wife a ghost now? if so you might wanna try talking to them as a ghost and ending their marriage. I've done that a few times and it's worked no matter who i married.

you need them to be in a romantic relationship for it to work so try that if it doesnt work then i dont know i will thing of something else and get back to you later

u have to ask to be friends first

So, if their relationship is bad (red in the relationship status bar) then get your friend back first, and only then try making romantic actions to them.
