Sims cant pay bills

I've seen thousands of threads just like this all over the internet, and none of them have actually been resolved, I need help with this problem, my sims cannot pay bills but the repo man continues to come and steal my objects. the mailbox simply doesnt work, i can click on it, and all it says is 'send gift to friend' there are no bills in there, I never see the mail man come.

I have; into the future, supernatural, pets, high-end loft stuff.

I recently installed a mod but the issue was present before it was installed, so I do not believe they are related, someone please help.

Use cheats. If you play The Sims 2 and read the memories of Sims when they receive an inheritance, you already know the solution to that.

Sorry but I dont understand, thats not very helpful as far as I can tell... what cheat do i use? and I dont remember anything in the sims 2 about reciving inheritance...

Open the cheat console by hitting CTRL+ALT+C, then type "kaching", you will get §1,000. Repeat this every time you want. To add §50,000, instead, type "motherlode".
And if you want to know more cheats, type "help" in the console, it's very simple.

no, money isnt the issue, the mailbox wont let me pay the bills, and the repo man wont stop comming and taking objects

This might work, but I'm not sure.

• Open the console: control + shift + c
  
• type in: testingCheatsEnabled true
  
• type in: households.force_bills_due

If that does not work, it may be worth trying the NRaas Master Controller mod, and using it to "reset" the mailbox on the lot. nraas.wikispaces.com/MasterController
