Is there a way to get different (curly?) hairstyles on the exchange? I only see the ones in the store that cost sim points. Also, if I download an entire sim from the exchange that already has a hairstyle I like, can I then edit him/her, or would I need to play the sim as is?

Also, are there any curly styles for male sims? I can't really find any.

There are some sites that do mods, mod the sims or others might have some custom hair styles, best thing I suggest is to google Sims 3 hair styles and search through the results, jus make sure the sites look legit and you should be fine,

Thanks! The first one under the males is really close to what i was looking for! When I click the download button though, it doesn't seem to want to work. I keep getting a message saying the download stopped working. Am I missing something? Is the download legit?

modthesims is a legit site - you should just need to be registered and logged in to the site. Registration is free.

I just logged in and downloaded it without issues - the download is in the Files section under the picture of the hair on the page.

Yes it is, it a trusted site and I use it a lot. Did you make an account for it? If it still doesnt work, I can upload the file on mediafire if you really cant get it.
