University Life glitch?

So posting a new discussion and hoping to get an answer from you sims 3 experts out there.

I've been at the University for more than 6 weeks. I have long forgotten how many credits I applied for. I think it was the 1 term with the most credits, 18? Is there a way to look at how long I have left? I feel like I've been in school forever and now I am just waiting for the day it will end.

I have over 99 relationships and over 30 friends and I pass all my classes now with flying colors for the past 4 weeks. I am a level 9 rebel and jock. I'm going for a fine arts degree. I feel I've pretty much mastered hit most of goals I was trying to reach here.

Then you definitely became a victim of a popular error.

Each term is one week and you travel back on Saturday, 9 PM of the last week (with other words, if you stay 1 term, you would travel back home at the first saturday ... with 2 terms it would be the 2nd saturday).

If something prevents you from moving (for example, you get a phone call while sitting in the moving van and you therefore get out to receive the call), then your Sim will stay forever in univwrsity world [it may be possible [never tested it] that you can still use your phone to quit the study, in which case, hoewever, all credits earned during your current stay at university are lost])

If you have a save from before Saturday 9 PM, I recommend you use it ;)

(it is, btw. always recommended to generate a separate save for the time immediately before travel home (or into the DLC world) ... regardless of whether it is World Adventures, Into the Future or University Life ...if ♥♥♥♥ (=bugs) happens, it loves to happen during the travel)

Great... I missed it then. Ive been here 6 weeks with no notice or call that tells me my term I paid for is over.

Well I quit the university and started over, reassigned my old roommates except for 2 into my dorm. One friend was missing from my list of friends to contact, the other didn't have ask to be roommate option in the friendly conversation options.

What is really wierd is that i have a romantic interest in university life and I have the option to woohoo with her and i have been having no problems there, but for some reason when i ask to woohoo now she refuses. So I accused her of being evil everytime I ask. Is this a glitch? Ive tried the woohoo option on objects besides the conversation options. Still not working. I'm not even sure what is causing it.

Unless someone has a romantic interest in her at the same time? She is a party animal.

Often you need to get people into the right mood to Woohoo ...
tht mneans, romantic interactions until they think you are irresistible.

Also I don´t know if it is possible to have traits being incompatible for Woohoo ...
but I wouldn´t rule it out (for example if not only you are evil, but your romantic interest is good)

I actually found out she has evil as one of her personality traits not shown through a rumor. haha. Now I know what that scary laugh she always did was. Also I was finally able to woohoo when i found out half the showers were broken in the dorm, but for some reason she only did the traditional woohoo through conversation once when I met her. And the romance irresistable comment was up when i tried. Doesn't work anymore.

The other piece of this which would be her Needs were too low, either tired or hungry. Anyway I did fix my university life glitch with being able to go home after a term. I had to restart the game. I guess that did it.

I did find one odd glitch though, after fixing a broken shower in the default building setup for one of the dorms, my character would get stuck between the walls after fixing the shower. there is a small space between the bathroom and a bedroom where the fireplace resides. Which was strange, but then I guess the bathroom area where the showers were in that Dorm were small.
(No changes were made by me on the default UL map.)

Yea I've had my sims get stuck in impossible places a couple of times, one of which did occur after repairing the shower. The sim exited the shower on the wrong side through the wall and was stuck floating outside of the house 2 feet off the ground. "resetsim [firstname] [lastname]" is your friend at that point.
I've had a ghost sim do something similar and just float gently back on the ground, and I've seen several sims (mostly in Moonlight Falls) get stuck beneath the ground to where all I could see were their thought bubbles. It's an bug but at least it doesn't happen too frequently.
