The idea is that everything your sim has in life needs to originally come from the profits from that one tomato.
If you already play rags to riches, try playing a "wishacy" for a while. You spend your playtime trying to grant all the (achievable) wishes your sim rolls and go wherever that leads you.
Plan a good character and convert them to an evil one.
Pick one skill on a character and max it out, like gardening, or fishing.
Collect all the different types of rocks on the game.
Collect all the different types of insects on the game.
Collect all the different types of seeds on the game.
Collect all (fill in the blank).
Try to scare your Sim to death by exploring the cemetary catacombs often, or whatever else you can think of.
Try to make friends with every single Sim in town. This may not be possible, but you can try.
Try to be enemies with every Sim in town.
Buy up the entire town.
Become rich and give away everything you have to all the town Sims until you are homeless.
That's a start for you. I might add more later. It would help to know what DLC you have.
Photographer is fun. It's expensive at first, but if you travel, you can level up quickly and end up making a ton of gold.
Detective is also a lot of fun.
It took me a while to try those 3 professions, but I really enjoyed them once I did.
There is a Lifetime wish to collect all fish types, I think. Create a character and give it that lifetime wish.
Travel to Egypt and try to fully explore every tomb. You might need to split that one up, though, and make it a point to just finish 4 tombs, or something like that.
Collect every type of flower.
Collect every type of seed. This includes the ones in the other travel locations.
Make Mortimer Goth happy.
Learn how to throw the best parties. To expand that: Buy a house in every Egypt, France, and China and throw the best parties in each of those.
Buy a big lot near the center of town and make it into the best playground. Invite all the kids over.
Buy a big lot and make it the best park in town and invite everyone over, or learn to throw the best pool parties.
Level the Sim Fu skill (I think it's called that) and break enough stone slabs to get every all of the different types of valuable rocks.
Build a huge underground museum filled with archaeological relics and/or paintings and/or sculptures that your Sims have made/found/bought.
Make an amazing nectar cellar. Find the best recipes - either by experiment or online/guide/Discussion tips research.
Create a huge garage and buy every moving vehicle on the game.
In Sunset Valley, buy the lot that is high in the mountains with a big lake next to it. Build a huge tower on the lot that lets you see over the top of the mountains that block the town below.
Befriend a unicorn.
Raise a horse and make it a trophy winner. I tried that and failed. Pets need so much attention on this game, lol.
Earn a living as a snake charmer.
Invent every invention. Travel to the future at least 20 times. Travel to the past at least 20 times.
Make a Sim marry a robot. (I did that but the robots are just so ugly to me that I'll never do that again.
Marry an alien and make multiple generations of aliens.
Try to fill a town with aliens.
Play the town with the swamps in it - I forget which one it is. Buy a rundown shack in the swamp and turn it into a mansion.
Turn a gorgeous mansion into a haunted house.
See how many ghosts you can get to haunt your house. Use the Goth house if you want a head start.
Is it possible to blow up a house? I don't know. Maybe try.
Put a small house on a big lot and turn it into a magically landscaped wonderland with ponds, fountains, beautiful trees and gardens.
Make your Sim a superstar jock and he has to sign 500 autographs before he dies, or something like that. I don't know what amount would be reasonable and still challenging.
Bring a ghost back to life.
Have your ghostbuster make friends with 50 ghosts.
Create an office for your detective with the rewards he gets over time. Make it a separate building. I've done this. I just wish the game would somehow make the customers come to his office. I think a few actually did come after a lot of years had passed. My memory is fuzzy on that, though.
Put the aging on the factory setting. Don't use any age freeze or young again potions. Create a young married couple. See how many children they can have in their lifetime.
Turn the Altos into good people. Husband retires and becomes a Sim Fu master. Wife devotes her life to charity. I generally enjoy trying to turn town Sims into the opposite of what they started out to be.
Create 2 Sim brothers. See how many times you can get them abducted.
Try to break up every couple in town.
Make an artist Sim where they eventually get so good that most, if not all, of the paintings and sculptures in the museum are your Sim's pieces.
