However there are lots of player-created worlds out there and many of them are very good. They usually come unpopulated, so you'd need a way to get those Sims to move in. I use the Story Progression mod from Nraas, there are a couple of other mods that will do the same thing or you could do it yourself if you wanted to spend the time and effort. A few of the world authors also make a saved game available that has the town populated, but you'd need to check each world individually to see if they did.
