Into the Future - Oasis Landing: How do you move a family in?

I want to make Oasis Landing my Active Household's hom neighborhood.
How do I do this?

I've had them buy property, but they cannot move in or even edit it.

Please help?

I do not believe you can move to Oasis landing permanently. It's a "destination" not a "neighborhood". As far as I know, buying a property just means that's where they stay when they visit, the same as the vacation worlds or the university campus.

Actually, I think I got it figured out: I was trying to use the computer-orb thingy to buy property, and for some reason that'll only let you buy it as something you can rent out to other Sims, like a rental property.
But if you use the PHONE to buy...it seems then you can set it as your Sim's home, and they can live there. It's a weird quirk...but it seems to function.
