Windows 11 startup fix? Won't launch after I press play in the sims launch window.

I have a newest gaming laptop with the highest specs which probably is the issue yet wanted to hear your thoughts!

You have to go into task manager find "Sims3LauncherW.exe" and set affinity to core0
Then once the game launches go back to task manager and set "TS3W.exe" back to all cores in the affinity tab and you should be good

I finally got mine to work after having the exact same problem!!!! Right click on your sims 3 icon/shortcut and go to "open file location". Find the Sims3Launcher application (it should have the logo next to it) and right click it. Go to "Properties". Click the "Compatibility" tab. Check the box that says "Run this program in Compatibility mode for" and then choose the highest windows option in the drop down. Mine was Windows 8. Hit apply and ok and close out of the settings and hopefully it will work for you too!!!!!!!!!! After setting the graphics options in the game it looks gorgeous and runs perfectly on my new PC.

Can anyone help me I have taken the sims 3 from onedrive so it's not in onedrive anymore and I says serious error has occurred when I try to load a save game I have done everything I can to get it work. Can someone help please
