Click on any computer or click on City Hall, select Nraas --> Master Controller --> Town --> Reset Everything (this may take a few minutes - I just did it on mine and it took about three minutes and reset somewhat over 20,000 objects)
That should move everyone in your household to the front of your home lot or someplace close to it. If you can't click on your guy to get the Nrass menu, make another one of your household active, go to the relationships tab, and click on your guy's pic. Nraas should be available from there and you'll go into Master Controller.
1. Intermediate --> Occult: Remove --> Ghost (should be True, you'll select it and accept to make it False) Nothing else should be marked as True. If it is, select those, too, and they'll turn False when you accept. Your guy is back to being a normal Sim again.
2. Intermediate --> Max Motives (all of your needs bars will max out) Your guy should no longer be dying.
If you're worried about whether he's having triplets or something, Master Controller --> Status --> Relationships. If he's still pregnant it will say "Sim is Pregnant" or something like that.
Anwyay, you should now be able to get into Edit Town. What you'll want to do is to evict your household (which will cancel all wishes, interactions and stuff like that) and either move them back in to your current house or place them into another property. I tend to favor a different house since it leaves any problem objects at the old house (you can always cheat more money to buy new stuff). The evict and move usually fixes all of those stuck actions.
I'd also recommend more frequent saves, using the "save as" option rather than saving over the same game each time and never using the "save and quit" option. It has been known to corrupt the occasional save and if your only save is corrupt, then you're kind of stuck. Hope this fixes the problem.
Congratulations on the twins, btw. When you get around to passing out the cigars, I like Cohibas. LOL!
firstname being your sims first name, lastname being your sims lastname.
should cause the looping action to reset and push the sim to the front of his household lot.
