Added DLC crashing game at startup

I've been scouring the web for hours looking for a way to fix this. I am doing yet another install now hoping that it will startup without having any faith that it will. It WAS working fine when I had generations, ambitions, university, outdoors pack and loft pack (I think). Today I added the rest and it crashed. I did a reinstall and it crashed still. Now I'm trying again but don't have faith. This issue is all over the web and nobody really seems to have a solid solution that works for the majority. Anyone have a clue about this?

First thing to try - the "factory reset".

Go to your computer's Documents directory (might be My Documents, depending on your version of Windows), and there open the folder named Electronic Arts. Inside it, locate the folder named The Sims 3, and either delete it, or rename it (if you'd like to try to salvage it later).

After that, start the game and see if it loads.

or you could try to soft reset prior to full game reset

go to My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3

delete:
CASPartCache.package
scriptCache.package
compositorCache.package
simCompositorCache.package

I've found that usually when im experiencing crash issues, its due to something within the cache files. Takes a game a little bit longer to load after removing the cache files but It usually resolves these issues for me.
