Question about sims 3 and into the future descendants?

I know this game is old and I am not sure if this was ever asked but, the story/lore mechanics the descendants changing leads me to my Q?: what if we play with mods for an example: there are only two genders in sims 3 so if I am playing as a female but use a mod that allows the female player to make other female pregnant by woohoo seeing there is no good gender mods for sims 3, will this break into the future mechanics or how would the game act?
