Does anyone know how to fix this "A serious error has occurred while loading 'Sunset Valley.world'."? My game won't load.

I've tried most of the solutions available online, but the issue still persists. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this error? Even when attempting to start a new game, it fails to load.

I would refresh The Sims 3 folder. Go to Electronic Arts/Sims 3, pull the entire Sims 3 folder on your desktop or some other place as backup. Start the game to generate a new Sims 3 folder. From your backup, place back in the folders for the content you want back into your game, like /Library, /Screenshots, /RecordedVideos, /Saves and /SavedSims.
