Tiberium farming
Hello, I have noticed that some people when cloning tiberium are dropping it and picking again in order for the gem to grow, is that hard requirement or just "Fail safe" so that it works?

It won't grow while in an inventory(regardless of whether family, personal, or chest) nor before you first pick it up and cut it, or even if multiple pieces are placed too closely together, so yes it needs to be set down and left for a while to grow. However as long as it is a cut gem or dust it will start to grow if placed on the ground far enough from other pieces(sorry, not sure the required distance, I just put them 6 to 10 blocks apart personally and it tends to work).

Just remember to give it a few sim days to get to full size before you pick them back up if you want to maximize the profits.

I already grew some, I am just wondering if I need to pick up and drop the raw gem and pick it again, by hand or harvester.
